Minc Law is looking for a Cybersecurity Attorney to provide legal services to clients in matters related to digital privacy, sextortion, and data security to help grow ourfirm’s Digital Risk Protection (DRP) and cybersecurity services. You will work with our sales/service teams, leadership team, and third-party technology partners to build and develop the firm’s DRP and cybersecurity practice to provide maximum value to customers, firm development, and growth. You will work closely with other attorneys and legal professionals in an energetic, collaborative, and flexible team environment that provides full support and training to make sure your practice and legal career are a success. Key Responsibilities Include:
•Provide legal services and represent clients in matters related to data security, sextortion, digital privacy, and other cybersecurity-related issues
•Provide digital risk assessments and audits for clients and identify cybersecurity risks.
•Develop legal service offerings related to cybersecurity and digital privacy.
•Provide business, technical, and product/service knowledge in support of pre and post-sales activities related to Minc Law’s Digital Risk Protection (DRP) services.
•Consult with potential clients regarding sales of DRP and cybersecurity services.
•Manage the DRP platform including reviewing and closing out alerts, and reviewing and resolving issues related to monthly reports.
•Draft legal notices and takedown requests of online content located on websites and social media.
•Work with the firm’s marketing team to create online articles, videos, and other digital content to market and sell the firm’s services.
•Active bar license in any U.S. State. 1-10+ years of cyber security or data privacy experience.
•Experience drafting privacy and security policies and procedures pursuant to HIPAA, GLBA, CCPA, and other statutes.
•Experience with litigation involving data privacy issues, hacking, or other cyberlaw-related matters.
•Experience and/or knowledge related to state, federal, and international privacy laws.
•Experience responding to regulatory investigations arising out of data breaches and drafting legal notices to individuals and regulators.
•Exceptional verbal and written organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
•Technology savvy, organized, detail-oriented, and a demonstrated work ethic.
•Strong entrepreneurial self-starter.
•Effectively manage client matters and expectations, sell legal services and demonstrate results.
•Annual billable hour expectation of 1500 hours.
