How to Remove Your Personal Information from Radaris: Radaris Opt Out Guide
Is your personal information exposed on Radaris for anyone to find? Radaris aggregates data from public records and online sources into detailed profiles that can put your privacy at risk. But you have the power to opt out and remove your information. In this step-by-step guide, I’ll walk you through the Radaris opt-out process, showing you exactly how to locate your profile, submit a removal request, and regain control over your digital footprint. Let’s get started.
What is Radaris, and How Does It Get Your Information?
Radaris is a data broker site that provides detailed profiles of many Americans by accessing public records and social media profiles. Anyone can search the Radaris site for free by entering a name, email address, phone number, or company name into search fields. From there, they can access information like social media accounts, names of relatives, work experience and resumes, age, full names, current addresses, photos and videos, criminal records, and even death certificates.
The problem is that Radaris aggregates and displays this information without your consent, which can put your privacy and security at risk. Having an exposed Radaris profile makes it easier for others to access your personal details, increasing the risk of identity theft, stalking, doxing, and reputational damage.
That’s why it’s crucial to opt out of Radaris and remove your personal information from their database. By doing so, you can regain control over your digital footprint and reduce the chances of your sensitive data falling into the wrong hands.
How to Opt-Out of Radaris Manually
- Locate your Radaris profile
Go to the Radaris home page at https://radaris.com/.
You can find your profile URL by using the search on the Radaris homepage. In the search fields, enter your first and last name and the city and state where you live, then click the search icon.
- Access your full profile
From the search results, find your profile by examining the information associated with each result for things related to you. Click the blue “View Profile” button on the right of your profile.
- Copy your profile URL
When your profile opens in a new window, copy your profile URL link from the web address bar.
- Access the opt-out form
Return to the Radaris homepage at https://radaris.com/. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the homepage and click the “Do Not Sell My Info” link.
The opt-out form will appear.
- Fill out the opt-out form
Paste your profile URL copied from Step 3 into the space provided. Enter your first and last name in the “User name” field, your email address into the email address field, complete the security CAPTCHA and click “Send Request”.
IMPORTANT: Whenever contacting a data broker, we highly recommend using a disposable email address and NOT using your own primary email address. Data brokers are known to add you to their marketing lists and databases whenever you contact them, even if the purpose is to opt out!
- Confirm your opt-out request
Check your inbox for confirmation of your opt-out request submission from Radaris. Open the email and click the verification link to complete your opt-out.
- Verify your information has been removed
After clicking the verification link, you should see a confirmation message that your opt-out was successful. Your personal data will be removed from the Radaris website.
