Having served as an attorney in private practice and within a legal department of a large national insurance company, Nathan has represented individuals and businesses on legal matters that inflict tangible as well as intangible damage on its victims. He recognizes the different end goals that businesses and individuals face but the consistent goal of protecting themselves from harm — physical, emotional, psychological, reputation or revenue loss.

Nathan’s goal-oriented and collaborative approach to handling a broad variety of complex litigation matters and pre-litigation disputes contributes to the successful results he achieves as a problem-solver for his clients. He works with business and individual clients to understand and develop goals in order to structure agreements that accomplish their objectives. Nathan identifies points of agreement with the opposing party, provides practice advice, prioritizes unresolved issues, and crafts arrangements that obtain favorable results in a timely, efficient manner for his clients. He routinely partners with outside subject matter experts and investigators to uncover facts and create strong defenses to achieve his clients’ goals.

Whether mitigating a sextortion threat post on Instagram or business defamation claim based on a false review, he is able to map out effective and efficient solutions, secure outside resources quickly, and apply the necessary negotiation tactics to address his clients’ concerns. While some cases follow a lockstep path that starts with a cease-and-desist letter, some need a more persuasive and softer approach that appeals to the human side of the offender.

Nathan’s vast knowledge of legal procedure and experience handling all stages of litigation, from engagement to trial and appeal, allows him to provide comprehensive insight into managing legal matters. Nathan has assisted clients in removing false and defamatory statements from host websites and secured monetary settlements for clients whose reputation were put at risk. Nathan’s experience working with third party websites to remove a variety of negative, online defamatory posts and handling litigation matters from cradle to grave have proven to be extremely valuable as he helps Minc Law clients from around the world.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys playing golf, bicycling, hiking, listening to music, and spending time outdoors with his daughter. He is also an avid Iowa and Cleveland sports fan.
