Kaelynn Vargo

One can say that Kaelynn Vargo’s professional and civic-based life experiences have converged to create a path that led her to Minc Law where she works as a paralegal. Having served as an intern probation officer, judge’s intern, and deputy clerk of court, she has first-hand knowledge of the court systems. This experience included taking on the responsibility of being an initial point of contact for legal documents, overviewing court cases, filing court documents, and managing administrative duties. Her sense of satisfaction from volunteering and helping others drew her to pursue psychology and criminal justice majors. The combination of these two worlds have given Kaelynn the opportunity to work in a legal role with people from all walks of life, which has been an invaluable asset as she interacts with clients.

At Minc Law, Kaelynn answers incoming leads from potential new clients, conducts initial screening with potential clients to determine if Minc Law is a good fit, answers questions prior to attorney consults, and schedules attorney consultations. She also handles guaranteed removals and assists with proofreading and formatting documents, preparing documents to be filed with courts, preserving evidence, organizing client files, and running various weekly to monthly reports to keep clients informed. She applies her communication, organization, and active listening skills to understand the client’s needs while constantly looking to expand her knowledge and experience in the field.

Kaelynn is currently the onboarding specialist for Minc Law’s Digital Risk Protection (DRP) program, an online security system that monitors and identifies digital threats based on client-created profiles. Her responsibilities in this role includes uploading photos and videos to allow for reverse image searches and optimizing each client’s profile to raise alerts and authenticate the individual’s social media accounts with the objective of detecting and attempting to eliminate potential active threats.

Kaelynn enjoys watching all types of sports and most especially loves attending games for her Cleveland sports team favorites – the Browns and Indians. She also enjoys reading, camping, traveling and exploring new places, and spending time with her family, fiancé, and friends.
