Annaliese Nunes
Client Intake Specialist
Annaliese Nunes’s ability to ask relevant questions in order to assess situations and make decisions, deal with difficult circumstances and personalities, and provide an objective perspective in emotionally charged scenarios are tremendous assets she brings to her role as a client intake specialist at Minc Law. Annaliese’s experience both within the hospitality industry and in leadership roles while earning her undergraduate degree at Kent State University have equipped her with invaluable skills and insight as she methodically and logically talks through each caller’s individual situations and determines next steps.
Annaliese helps potential clients understand internet defamation law and what steps can be used to resolve their particular situation through legal action. She provides initial counsel to clients on processes related to removing online content, addressing revenge porn and sextortion matters, and pulling down social media posts that relate to both personal defamation and business defamation matters, such as those involving Google reviews. Sometimes these matters may simply involve negotiating removal of content or pictures while other situations require more drastic legal measures be applied. Another component of the equation may involve removing the extortionist or perpetrator from the victims’ lives.
Strong organization, communications, and time management skills allow her to effectively manage the workload Annaliese faces each day and keep everyone on the same page. She effectively delegates when appropriate to use the right resources and keeps clients in the loop so they are informed throughout the entire process. She strives to uncover as much information as possible in order to inform clients of their best options, given their particular situation, and the process associated with working with Minc Law or recommending another course of action.
While many of these internet defamation resolution processes are similar, each one is specific and Annaliese understands the personal components, treating individuals with compassion and empathy while providing comfort along the way. She provides a sense of privacy, confidentiality and reassurance to callers by using a nonjudgmental approach to help them comprehensively share details of the situation and then clearly presents options to resolve and solve their problem.
Annaliese’s undergrad background in legal studies provides her with insight and general legal knowledge that she shares with clients who are unfamiliar with the legal system. She plans to apply the practical experience she’s gaining at Minc Law and go back to law school to complete her studies as an attorney.
In her free time, Annaliese enjoys reading and spending time with her dog and cat. She is also a house plant enthusiast!
